Based in Lytham on the Lancashire coast, we stock homeware, fragrances, gifts and pet accessories for people who care about the objects they live with. People who value craft over convenience. Who want their homes to feel considered, not cluttered.
Meet Simon
I've spent twenty years in retail buying for major UK brands. I learned how to read trends before they happened, build relationships with suppliers who knew their craft, and spot quality without needing to check the label.
I know what makes good design sell. More importantly, I know what makes it last.
Part of that career was at Selfridges in London - a masterclass in curation and understanding what discerning customers actually want. But by 2019, I'd had enough of chasing volume for the sake of shareholders and making decisions by committee.
I left London and spent a year travelling solo. The distance gave me clarity - about what I valued, how I wanted to work, and what kind of brand felt worth building. I eventually settled at the Lancashire coast and started Renley Hawthorn. Every product here passes the same test I used in corporate retail but without any of the compromise.
This is curation with conviction. And it's entirely mine.
What We Believe
At Renley Hawthorn, we believe good design speaks quietly. That your home should feel like yours, not like everyone else's. That one well made thing beats ten mediocre ones.
We stock products that last. Not because it's trendy to talk about sustainability, but because well made things are better. They use proper materials. They're crafted with care. They support local jobs, and they don't end up in landfill after six months.

We have reduced our plastic use to a minimum.
